Spotted Sox
software is distributed as Freeware versions downloaded from the Spotted Sox
and other websites, or as promotional Freeware distributed on CD’s through
shows, magazines or other forms of give-aways. All these copies will run as
Freeware versions, and will not support the full capabilities of the Full
versions.
To convert a Freeware version to a Full
version, you need to purchase an Activation key (a small file) and install it
on your PC. If a Spotted Sox software application finds a valid Activation key
on the PC then the application will run as a Full version.
Using a CD based Freeware version. If you
have a Freeware or promotional version of one of our programs on a CD then you
must first install the software on a PC before purchasing the Activation code.
You must also have access to the Internet from the same PC on which you wish to
install the Activation key.
Downloading a Trial version. If you do not
have a CD based promotional version, then simply download the trial version of
the software from the Spotted Sox website. To do so, select the product, click
on More details and then click Free Trial. The relevant web page will give you
further details regarding the download process. Click Free Trial again to begin
the download process. Once downloaded, install the software on the PC from
which you will request the Activation code and run the product.
To purchase an Activation key. From the
program you want to activate, select the Useful Info button, and then click the
Register button. This will display the registration form requiring a user name
from you. Once the user name is typed in, you can click the Request Activation
Key button which will take you to Your Shopping basket on our website. Follow
